London, UK – Connect-EZ signed an agreement with Caribbean Airlines to provide reliable in-app calling services for its customers. The service enables free voice calls to be made to the airlines’ call centre from within their mobile app from any data connection globally. Connect-EZ is a telephony service that allows users to make and receive voice calls by registering with their choice of email address – without necessitating the use of a SIM card or number, and is available world-wide.
To enhance customer support and facilitate customers, Caribbean Airlines wished to implement an in-app calling service within their mobile app – enabling free calls to be made using a data connection only. However, some Wi-Fi operators block telephone calls. This meant that the service could not be promoted as a viable alternative to international/toll-free calls. As an add-on to Connect-EZ’s standalone app, an API and SDK was offered to Caribbean Airlines to integrate and test. Initial testing looked promising, and finally the airline was able to launch the service to its clients.

Over the last few weeks, the Connect-EZ in-app calling service was extensively tested to ensure reliability and great voice quality – leading to an agreement being signed between the start-up and the Airline.
